Meaning of the OurOffice Logo


The OurOffice logo is a depiction of one of the best-known and widely worshiped Hindu deities, Ganesha, the son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati which is recognized by its elephant head. Ganesha is known as the God of New Beginnings and the Remover of Obstacles. We chose this symbol for obvious reasons as we started OurOffice to remove barriers for all under-represented people. Ganesha also happens to be one of the most celebrated in Maharashtra where OurOffice founders spent time with our dev team, building the original version of OurOffice platform. Last, but certainly not least, most in the US and English-speaking regions around the world, will associate our logo with the “Elephant in the Room.”
