Open enrollment is soon to be underway, which means it’s almost time for employees to select their benefits packages for next year. With the downturn in the economy, some employers are scaling back on offering a robust employee benefits package, while others are working to expand their offerings to attract new talent and retain employees.

Many employers expanded employee benefits during the pandemic to cover more sick/medical time and family leave. Other employers have also been offering additional perks such as paid college tuition, fertility benefits,  pet insurance, financial planners, paid self-care days, and online mental health support. However, some small and medium sized businesses find it difficult to compete in this area as they often have to hire temporary coverage whilst still paying the wages for those employees on leave.

Given the rise in discussions about employee health and wellness, we know that employers must value the well-being of their employees and provide support for them to have a healthy work/life balance. Employee benefits are often key in promoting wellness within an organization.

We are excited to have Laura Hanchett, Vice President at USI Insurance Services, and a benefits expert with over 20 years of experience joining Dr. Tiffany Ingram, DEI Advisor at OurOffice for this webinar. This discussion will review the importance of a robust employee benefits package and how employers can improve their benefits package to support the diverse needs of employees.

Executives, and leaders across organizations of any type and size will benefit from learning about the following at this webinar:

  • Best practices in creating an inclusive employee benefits program
  • Tips to understand your employees benefits data and resources to conduct an employee needs assessment
  • How to implement changes to employee benefits/policies and best practices on communicating those changes to staff

We look forward to seeing you at the webinar.
